A great way to have your home smelling amazing is by simply making your own room spray. I love the idea of mixing essential oils and creating different interesting scents which you won’t find in the store!
A few weeks ago I decided to experiment and try to make a “fall” inspired scent! Not only is this amazing recipe super easy but it’s inexpensive. As we all know, cleaning with natural ingredients is cheaper than using commercial ones.
Well, it’s the same when it comes to making room sprays – homemade ones are cheaper than those air fresheners you can buy from the store. Not only that but they are 100% safe and non-toxic because they do not contain any harsh chemicals.
How To Make A Pumpkin Spice Room Spray?
As I said, I wanted to make fall inspired scent and what is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of fall? That’s right – pumpkin spice!
Now, you need a spray bottle. Fill it with water then grab your essential oils:
- Cinnamon
- Ginger
- Cardamom
- Clove
- Orange
Shake the spray bottle well before you use your room spray!
Another Amazing Recipe!
Now, for the second recipe I have for you, you have to use alcohol. I recommend using vodka (3 tablespoons of it).
Grab a spray bottle, pour the vodka, add cedarwood essential oil, rosemary essential oil, cinnamon essential oil, and orange essential oil (10 drops from each). Mix well before using!
