Many people think that vacuuming isn’t enough to clean their rugs which isn’t true. All you need to do is switch up the technique you use.
What do I mean by that? You don’t need any fancy equipment or any commercial cleaners to maintain your rugs clean. You simply need to change the way you vacuum. Usually, the problem with vacuuming is that you aren’t able to penetrate deep enough to remove all the build-up, dirt, dust, and impurities. This is true, however, there is a simple extra step you need to take which will ensure you actually are able to remove those impurities!
How To Properly Vacuum Your Rugs?
Of course, start off with vacuum cleaning the rug – nothing special.
Then, once you are done with the surface, flip your rug upside-down and clean the bottom. This is the extra step most people miss. This is the only way you will be able to remove all the accumulated dirt in your rug.
Then the final step should be flipping the rug again and vacuuming the top one more time!
This cleaning hack has saved me so much time and energy. It’s such an easy extra step you can take but it will make a huge difference in the cleanliness of the rug – trust me!
